Aleksandr Grigoryan is an Associate Professor at the American University of Armenia and a CERGE-EI Foundation Teaching Fellow. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Turin and Masters in Economics from the Institute for Advanced Studies (Vienna). His research covers a range of topics, such as microfinance, migration, poverty, gender, monetary policy and international trade. Aleksandr Grigoryan has publications in Empirical Economics, Eastern European Economics, International Economic Journal, Journal of Income Distribution, among other journals. Aleksandr Grigoryan has a rich experience in economic research and policy consultancy in collaboration with well-known international organizations.
