Field of research: Big Data and AI

Maija Kāle is an Associated Research Fellow at the Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies (BICEPS). She holds a PhD in Computer Science from University of Latvia. Her research focuses on food computing, sustainable food systems, big data, and the societal impacts of artificial intelligence.
