Anete Pajuste

Anete Pajuste is a Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, a Research Associate at the Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies (BICEPS), a Research Member at the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), and a Visiting Professor at the Boston University Questrom School of Business.  She holds a PhD in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden). Her main research focuses on corporate governance and controlling shareholders.

Janis Berzins

Jānis Bērziņš is an Associate Professor at the BI Norwegian Business School. He holds a PhD in Finance from Indiana University. Jānis’ main research interests are in the field of corporate governance, corporate finance and asset management. He has published in journals such as Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Finance and Journal of Corporate Finance.

Pavle Radicevic

Pavle Radicevic

Pavle is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the New Economic School in Moscow. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. His research interest is in the area of theoretical corporate finance with a focus on the interaction of ownership concentration and corporate policies.

Sergei Guriev

Sergei Guriev

Sergei Guriev joined Sciences Po as a tenured professor of economics in 2013 after running the New Economic School in Moscow in 2004-13. In 2016-19, he has been on leave from Sciences Po serving as the Chief Economist of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

He is also a Research Fellow and the Leader of the Research and Policy Network on Populism at the Centre for Economic Policy Research, London. He is an Ordinary Member of Academia Europeae and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Economic Association.

Patrick J. Kelly

Patrick J. Kelly is an Associate Professor of Finance at the New Economic School in Moscow. Professor Kelly earned his Ph.D. in Finance and Master Degree in Economics from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He has been a visiting scholar at the University of Texas at Austin, a visiting lecturer in the Ph.D. program at the University of Melbourne and an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida where he won awards for both his teaching and research.

He has published articles on these topics in top academic journals including the Review of Financial Studies and the Journal of Banking and Finance.
