Tamta Maridashvili

Tamta Maridashvili is a Senior Researcher at the ISET Policy Institute (ISET-PI). Tamta is specialized in the topics of education and inequality.

Tamta Maridashvili regularly produces blog articles and works on donor-funded research and applied projects. She holds a Master’s Degree of Science in Economics from Lund University, Sweden. She is a visiting lecturer at Ilia State University, Tbilisi.

Salome Deisadze

Salome Deisadze

Salome Deisadze is a Senior Researcher at the Agricultural and Rural Policy Research Center at ISET Policy Institute (ISET-PI). Along with other research projects, she is involved in Agri Review publishing and writes monthly highlights on food price changes in local and international markets. Her research interests lie broadly in the area of agricultural economics and rural development.

Currently, Salome Deisadze is a Ph.D. candidate at the Tbilisi State University. In 2016, she received a Master’s degree in Economics at ISET, and that same year successfully completed the Course for Graduate Teaching Fellows in Teaching principles and Practices for Economics at the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education (CERGE) of Charles University in Prague. Currently, she is a visiting lecturer in Elements of Practical Mathematics at Ilia State University.

Norberto Pignatti

Norberto Pignatti is an Energy & Environment and Labor Economist. Norberto holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bologna (2007). Since 2016, he has been the Head of the Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center at ISET Policy Institute. He is also Associate Professor of Policy at the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET), which he joined in 2009. His research interests include labor market policies, energy and environmental policies, and sustainable development.
