Polina Kuznetsova holds a position as Senior Researcher in the Institute of Social Analysis and Forecasting at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). She specializes in social policy and assessment of the effects of economic and social reforms.
Polina Kuznetsova received her MSc in Math from Moscow State University and MA in Economics from the New Economic School (NES, Moscow).

Tatiana Mikhailova

Tatiana Mikhailova joined Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration in 2013, prior to that she was an Assistant Professor at the New Economic School, Moscow and a visiting Lecturer and Researcher at Boston University, USA.
Mikhailova graduated from Moscow State Institute of Electronic Engineering in 1996. She got her MA degree in Economics from NES in 1997 and her Ph.D. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University in 2004.
Tatiana Mikhailova teaches econometrics, industrial organization and economic geography at RANEPA.
Nikolay Avxentyev

Nikolay Avxentyev is currently Research Fellow at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and Research fellow at the Research Financial institution of Ministry of Finance, both in Moscow, Russia. He received his Master’s degree in Economics from the New Economic School in 2013.
His main research papers on fiscal federalism are concerned with the effect of (de)centralization on budgetary performance and regional debt policy. His main papers on health economics examine health insurance systems in Russia and abroad.
Arseniy Mamedov

Arseniy Mamedov is currently Senior Research Fellow at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and acting Head of Department for Fiscal Policy at the Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy, both Moscow, Russia. He received his Master’s degree in Economics from Moscow State University in 2009.
He has published articles and research papers mainly in Russian journals and books and he is co-author of the NBER paper “Russia’s Fiscal Gap”.
