Maka Chitanava
Maka Chitanava is Deputy Head of Energy and Environment Policy Research Center of ISET Policy Institute (ISET-PI), Tbilisi. Ms. Chitanava holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the International School of Economics (ISET).
Her research interests are environmental policy, social policy analysis and regulation. Ms. Chitanava is a regular blogger at the ISET Economist Blog and a visiting lecturer at the University of Georgia.

Tamta Maridashvili
Tamta Maridashvili is a Senior Researcher at the ISET Policy Institute (ISET-PI). Tamta is specialized in the topics of education and inequality.
Tamta Maridashvili regularly produces blog articles and works on donor-funded research and applied projects. She holds a Master’s Degree of Science in Economics from Lund University, Sweden. She is a visiting lecturer at Ilia State University, Tbilisi.
Victor Arshavskiy
Victor Arshavskiy has a PhD in Economics from New York University in 2011. After graduation, he worked at the Graduate School of Management at Saint Petersburg University, Saint Petersburg, Russia. From September 2013 to August 2017, Victor worked as a Research Scientist at CTED, NYU Abu Dhabi, UAE. Since September 2017 Victor has been working as a Research Fellow at Belarus Economic and Outreach Center. Victor’s fields of interest are Development Economics, International Trade and Financial Economics.
Dmytro Iarovyi
Since 2017, Dmytro has been a Program Manager at the Department for Public Policy and Governance of Kyiv School of Economics.
He holds a PhD in Political Psychology (2019), an MSc in International Administration and Global Governance (Gothenburg University, 2014), and an MA in International Information (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, 2013).
In 2016-2017, he worked as Head of the International Communications and Analytics Unit at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
His sphere of academic and professional interests includes public administration reform, political psychology, social media, policy analysis.
Pavle Radicevic
Pavle is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the New Economic School in Moscow. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. His research interest is in the area of theoretical corporate finance with a focus on the interaction of ownership concentration and corporate policies.
Rebecca Ly
Rebecca Ly is a Research Assistant at SITE. She holds a BSc in Economics from Toulouse School of Economics and a joint MSc in Economics from Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE.
Her research interests are industrial organization and energy markets.
Mark Bernard
Mark holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, and divides his time between doing research at SITE and working as a senior analyst at the Swedish telecommunications regulator, PTS.
Much of Mark’s current research time is devoted to an ongoing project on competition in vertically related markets financed by the Swedish Competition Authority (Konkurrensverket).
Lev Lvovskiy
Lev Lvovskiy is an Academic Director at BEROC. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Perm State Technical University in 2010 and he obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Iowa in 2017. Lev Lvovskiy has been focusing his research on areas such as macroeconomics, demographic economy, economic inequality, and income uncertainty.

Irina Tochitskaya
Dr. Irina Tochitskaya has a Ph.D. in Macroeconomics and an M.Sc. in Statistics. Since 2003 Irina Tochitskaya has been working as a Deputy Director and Academic Director of the IPM Research Center in Minsk, Belarus. In 2018, she joined BEROC as a consultant for the Green Economy project.
Her professional interests include trade policy, regional integration, innovation and growth, enterprise development, sustainable development, applied econometrics.
Yauheniya Shershunovich
Yauheniya Shershunovich has a PhD degree in Applied and Development Economics from the Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn. Her research interests are environmental economics, green and circular economy and pro-environmental behavior.
