Sebastian Hohmann
Sebastian completed his PhD in Economics at London Business School in 2018. The same fall, he joined SITE as an Assistant Professor.
His research interests include development, political economy and trade.
Radzivon Marozau
Radzivon Marozau obtained his Ph.D. degree at the Deusto Business School, University of Deusto (Spain) in 2015. He is currently a Research Fellow at BEROC. Between 2009 and 2018 he worked as an Economist, Lecturer, Assistant Director, and Head of the department at the School of Business and Management of Technology at the Belarusian State University. Radzivon is a country coordinator at the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students’ Survey (GUESSS) and a member of the Belarusian team in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM).
His areas of research interest are within private sector development, entrepreneurial university, academic entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education.

Pamela Campa
Pamela Campa is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) at Stockholm School of Economics. Before joining SITE she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary. Pamela holds a PhD in Economics from the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES) at Stockholm University. She is a Research Affiliate at the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (MISUM) and Dondena Gender Initiative.
Her research interests are in Political Economy, Environmental Economics and Gender Economics.

Edvard von Sydow
Edvard von Sydow is a full-time research assistant at SITE, working in multiple projects at the institute. He holds a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Anna Pluta
Anna Pluta is a research fellow at BICEPS and a Ph.D. student in Economics at the University of Latvia. She holds a Master of Science degree in Economics, University of Latvia.
Marina Kartseva
Marina Kartseva has graduate degrees in physics and in economics from the New Economic School (NES). She is a Senior Economist at the Centre for Economics and Financial Research (CEFIR) in Moscow. Her main research interests are in labor, income distribution and policy impact evaluation.
Davis Plotnieks
Davis Plotnieks is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Latvia and works as a research analyst in the SEFORïS project at SITE, Stockholm School of Economics. He is also a Lecturer of Business Management at the BA School of Business and Finance. He has obtained over 10 years of experience in business consulting and organization and project management working in private, public and non-profit sectors in several countries. His main research interests cover innovation, financing mechanisms for new business development and social entrepreneurship. Mateusz Najsztub
Mateusz Najsztub is a Research Associate at CenEA where he worked between 2013-2018. He graduated with an MA degree in Chemistry at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in 2011 and is currently works at the Polish Ministry of Finance where he is involved in fiscal policy analysis.

Elina Ribakova
Elina Ribakova is currently Vice President for Foreign Policy at the Kyiv School of Economics. She is also a nonresident senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and a nonresident fellow at Bruegel.
Her research focuses on global markets, economic statecraft, and economic sovereignty. She has been a senior adjunct fellow at the Center for a New American Security (2020–23) and a research fellow at the London School of Economics (2015–17).
Ribakova has over 25 years of experience with financial markets and research. She has held several senior level roles, including deputy chief economist at the Institute of International Finance in Washington, managing director and head of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Research at Deutsche Bank in London, leadership positions at Amundi (Pioneer) Asset Management, and director and chief economist for Russia and the Commonwealth for Independent States (CIS) at Citigroup. Prior to that, Ribakova was an economist at the International Monetary Fund in Washington (1999–2008) working on financial stability, macroeconomic policy design for commodity-exporting countries, and fiscal policy.
Ribakova holds a master of science degree in Economics from the University of Warwick (1999), where she was awarded the Shiv Nath prize for outstanding academic performance, and a master of science degree in data science from the University of Virginia (May 2023).

Arevik Gnutzmann-Mkrtchyan
Arevik Gnutzmann-Mkrtchyan is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the University of Hanover. She obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy in October 2014. She is also an off-site Research Associate at the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC).
Her research interests are centered around international trade, trade agreements, trade preferences and protection measures.
