Webinar | Workshop on Gender Economics
We are delighted to announce the first online workshop organised as part of the Forum for Research on Gender Economics (FROGEE) under the FREE Network umbrella in collaboration with Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE). The workshop will bring together researchers and experts working in the area of gender economics on issues related to gender inequality.
The FREE Network first online workshop is organized as part of the Forum for Research on Gender Economics (FROGEE) supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The workshop will combine seminar presentations of academic papers focused on issues related to gender inequality and online lectures on economics of discrimination given by prof. Daniel Hamermesh (Barnard College and IZA). The mornings will feature seminar presentations, while in the afternoon prof. Hamermesh will deliver lectures on “Unusual Aspects of the Economics of Discrimination”.

ABOUT Forum for Research on Gender Economics (FROGEE)
The aim of the FROGEE project is to contribute to the discussion on gender inequality, with a specific focus on the region of Central and Eastern Europe. By highlighting different dimensions of gender inequality and its consequences for socio-economic development, FROGEE aims at bringing the issue of gender equality to the focus of both general public and policy makers. The project is supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
