Anna Hovhannisyan

Anna Hovhannisyan holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics and is currently pursuing an MA in Human Rights and Social Justice at the American University of Armenia (AUA). Through her graduate research at AUA, she has contributed to policy analysis and evidence-based research on the care economy, family-friendly policies, and demographic resilience, leveraging data from Armenia’s National Transfer Accounts and National Time Transfer Accounts. Anna currently serves as a Programme Associate at UNFPA Armenia, specializing in gender equality and population dynamics. Her career includes extensive experience in human rights protection and institutional advocacy, having previously served with the Council of Europe Office in Yerevan and the Human Rights Defender’s Office of Armenia, where she supported initiatives on human rights standards, non-discrimination, and social justice.
