Kateryna Bornukova

Kateryna Bornukova is a researcher at the Joint Research Centre (JRC), which she joined in 2023. Kateryna Bornukova previously worked as a visiting professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and as Academic Director at the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC). She has also collaborated with the World Bank and UNICEF as a consultant.
She holds a PhD in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and an MA in Economics from the Kyiv School of Economics. Her research focuses on social policy analysis, fiscal policy, inequality, multidimensional poverty, and child development.
