Maryia Akulava graduated from the Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU) with a specialist degree in Economic Cybernetics in 2005 and obtained her MA degree in Economics from the Kyiv School of Economics (former EERC) in 2008.
Since September 2009, Maryia has been working at BEROC and currently holds a position as a researcher.
Her research interests include labor economics, gender issues, privatization and SMEs.
