Irina Tochitskaya

Dr. Irina Tochitskaya has a Ph.D. in Macroeconomics and an M.Sc. in Statistics. Since 2003 Irina Tochitskaya has been working as a Deputy Director and Academic Director of the IPM Research Center in Minsk, Belarus. In 2018, she joined BEROC as a consultant for the Green Economy project.

Her professional interests include trade policy, regional integration, innovation and growth, enterprise development, sustainable development, applied econometrics.

Yauheniya Shershunovich

Yauheniya Shershunovich is an Analyst (Consultant) in the Green Economy Project at BEROC.  She is a PhD candidate in Applied Economics at the Center for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn. Her research interests are environmental economics, green and circular economy and sustainable consumption.

Radzivon Marozau

Radzivon Marozau obtained his Ph.D. degree at the Deusto Business School, University of Deusto (Spain) in 2015. He is currently a Research Fellow at BEROC. Between 2009 and 2018 he worked as an Economist, Lecturer, Assistant Director, and Head of the department at the School of Business and Management of Technology at the Belarusian State University. Radzivon is a country coordinator at the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students’ Survey (GUESSS) and a member of the Belarusian team in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM).

His areas of research interest are within private sector development, entrepreneurial university, academic entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education.

Arevik Gnutzmann-Mkrtchyan

Arevik Gnutzmann-Mkrtchyan

Arevik Gnutzmann-Mkrtchyan is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the University of Hanover. She obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy in October 2014. She is also an off-site Research Associate at the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC).

Her research interests are centered around international trade, trade agreements, trade preferences and protection measures.

Kiryl Haiduk

Kiryl Haiduk

Kiryl Haiduk is a Senior Researcher at the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC) since 2012. Dr. Haiduk finished the postgraduate program in economic theory at the Belarusian State University in 2002. He received a PhD in International Economics from the University of Trento, Italy, in 2012.

During 2002 and 2005, Haiduk worked as a labor economist for the International Labor Organization project in Belarus. He taught at the European Humanities University (2001–2004) and the Belarusian State University (2002–2005). Since 2001, Haiduk is an associate expert of the IPM Research Center, and since 2012 – a member of its Supervisory Board.

 

Mykhaylo Salnykov

Mykhaylo Salnykov

Mykhaylo Salnykov is an Academic Director at BEROC. He earned his PhD in Economics at the Simon Fraser University (Canada) in 2008 supplemented by two Masters in Economic Theory (Kyiv School of Economics, 2004) and Environmental Sciences and Policy (Central European University, 2002).

Kateryna Bornukova

Kateryna Bornukova is the Academic Director of BEROC. Kateryna holds a M.A. in Economics from Kyiv School of Economics and a Ph.D. in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Her research interests include macroeconomics, economics of transition and labor economics.

Kateryna has previously served as senior economic advisor to the UN Resident Representative in Belarus. She also works as a consultant for the World Bank and other international organizations.

Dzmitry Kruk

Dzmitry Kruk is a Researcher at the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC). He has a BA in Economics (2002) and an MA in Banking and Finance (2004) from the Belarusian State University. In 2008 he finished a postgraduate program in Economic Theory at the Belarusian State University.

In 2003, Kruk worked as a research assistant for the Scientific and Research Economic Institute of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus. From 2003 to 2010 he was a researcher at the IPM Research Center and since 2004 he has been teaching economic courses at the Belarusian State University.

Anastasiya Luzgina

Anastasiya Luzgina works as a Research Associate at the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC). Before that, she served as an Associate Professor at the Belarusian State University. Anastasiya Luzgina also has worked at the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (2003-2007) and the IMF Resident Representative office in Belarus (2007-2009).

In 2015, Anastasiya took a part in the program for visiting researchers of the Central Bank of Finland. She also participated in Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program (USA) (2018). She teaches monetary policy, monetary statistics, finance and FinTech.
