Natalja Apanasovich

Natalja Apanasovich is a Research Fellow at BEROC. Natalja obtained her PhD at the University of Deusto, Spain. Areas of research interest include the green economy, innovation systems and SMEs innovative performance.

Anatoly Kharitonchik

Anatoly Kharitonchik is a Research Associate at the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC). Before joining BEROC in 2022, Anatoly worked at the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus and at the Eurasian Development Bank, where he was involved in macroeconomic analysis, forecasting, modeling, and policy decision support.

Anatoly Kharitonchik obtained his Ph.D. in banking and finance (2022) from the Belarusian State Economic University. His research interests are within macroeconomics and monetary policy.

Alaksandr Hancharonak

Alaksandr works as a Researcher at BEROC. He graduated from the Belarusian State Economic University in 2018 and has previously worked as an Education and People Research Analyst at EPAM Systems (2017-2021).

Viyaleta Panasevich

Viyaleta graduated from the Belarusian State University with a degree in Analytical Economics in 2021. In January-February 2021 she did an internship at BEROC and currently holds a position as a researcher. Her research interests include female entrepreneurship and private-sector development.

Nadzeya Batava

Nadzeya Batava received her Ph.D. in Economics in 2006. In 2018 she became an Associate Professor at the Belarusian State Technological University, and in 2017 held a fellowship at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Since 2018, she has been working at BEROC as an Analyst in the Green Economy Project.

Her professional interests include green economy and sustainable development.

Maryia Akulava

Maryia Akulava graduated from the Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU)  with a specialist degree in Economic Cybernetics in 2005. She obtained her MA degree in Economics from the Kyiv School of Economics (former EERC) in 2008. Since September 2009, Maryia has been working at BEROC and currently holds a position of researcher. Her research interests include labor economics, gender issues, privatization, and SMEs.

Maryia is head of the Belarusian team of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM).

Hanna Aginskaya

Hanna Aginskaya has been working as a Researcher at the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC). She obtained her PhD in Management from Belarusian State Economic University in 2017. Hanna Aginskaya has worked as a project manager assistant in UNIBEP S.A. (2011-2012) and as a project management consultant from 2013 and instructor in Belarusian national technical university during 2012–2013.

Her research interests include small and medium business development, entrepreneurship, strategy, and organizational design, innovations, social capital, and trust.

Victor Arshavskiy

Victor Arshavskiy has a PhD in Economics from New York University in 2011. After graduation, he worked at the Graduate School of Management at Saint Petersburg University, Saint Petersburg, Russia. From September 2013 to August 2017, Victor worked as a Research Scientist at CTED, NYU Abu Dhabi, UAE. Since September 2017 Victor has been working as a Research Fellow at Belarus Economic and Outreach Center. Victor’s fields of interest are Development Economics, International Trade and Financial Economics.

Lev Lvovskiy

Lev Lvovskiy is a Research Fellow at BEROC. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Perm State Technical University in 2010 and he obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Iowa in 2017. Lev Lvovskiy has been focusing his research on areas such as macroeconomics, demographic economy, economic inequality, and income uncertainty.
