Tymofiy Mylovanov

Tymofiy Mylovanov is currently the President of the Kyiv School of Economics and holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh. He served as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine from 2016 to 2019, and as the Minister of Economic Development, Trade, and Agriculture of Ukraine from 2019 to 2020.

From December 2020 until November 2023, Mylovanov served as Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine. From 2021 to 2023, he chaired the Supervisory Board of ‘Ukroboronprom’ and was reappointed as a member in 2024.

Mylovanov earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004, and has taught at several leading universities, including the Rheinische Friedrich–Wilhelms–Universität Bonn, University of Pennsylvania, Penn State University, and the University of Pittsburgh.

He has published academic articles in top-tier journals such as Econometrica, American Economic Review, and the Review of Economic Studies. Mylovanov co-founded VoxUkraine during the Revolution of Dignity to improve Ukraine’s economic discourse. Forbes Ukraine recognized him as a top economist in 2014 and 2015.

Khrystyna Holynska

Khrystyna Holynska

Dr. Khrystyna Holynska is a Ph.D. Candidate at Pardee RAND Graduate School (Santa Monica, USA) and a Visiting Professor at Kyiv School of Economics (Department of Public Policy and Governance). She has a Ph.D. in Political Science and over 10 years of experience in teaching political science and public administration in the top universities of Ukraine, among them Taras Shevchenko University and the University of Kyiv.

She serves as an expert for reforms monitoring project iMoRe of VoxUkraine. In 2017-2020, she worked as the Head of KSE StratBase and a Strategic Analyst for The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies. She was the founder and head (2014-2018) of the women’s NGO “Women Democratic Alliance” in Ukraine.

Yar Batoh

Yar Batoh is an Associate Research Fellow at The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies and consultant on international cooperation at NPC Ukrenergo since 2019. He has a B.A. in International Relations (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv) and a certificate in political science (Granada University). From 2017-2019, he was an analyst at VoxUkraine. Yar focuses on international security, conflict resolution, Ukrainian and Russian foreign policy.

Yevhen Sapolovych

Yevhen Sapolovych is Research Fellow at The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies since 2017. He has a B.A. in Political Science (from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv). Sapolovych currently focuses on new quantitative tools for policy analysis (natural language processing, event data, machine learning).

Daria Goriacheva

Daria Goriacheva is an Associate Research Fellow at The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies since 2019 and an analyst at the Mohyla Strategic Agency since 2020. She has an M.A. in Political Science with a specialization in German and European Studies from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, as well as in Politics from Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena. Daria studied and taught International Relations at the Central European University and the University of Muhammadiyah Malang respectively. Her primary research interest lies in the intersection of cognitive linguistics and international relations with a specific focus on metaphors in the political discourse and cyberdiscourse.

Ostap Kuchma

Public procurement analyst at Kyiv School of Economics. Received a Master’s Degree in Political Science and after serving several years as a political finance analyst and open data analyst, he switched to data analysis using Python.

Olexiy Gribanovsky

Olexiy is a Full Stack Developer, infographic designer, and data analyst. He has worked with machine learning and Python and is currently employed as a data analyst at the Policy Research Department of the Kyiv School of Economics.

Svitlana Taran

Svitlana Taran holds an MA in Economics from Economic Education and Research Consortium (EERC) /Kyiv School of Economics. She has more than 10 years of experience as an analyst and consultant on international trade, trade policy, non-tariff barriers to trade, European integration and WTO regulations.

In 2016-2018, Svitlana worked in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine. In 2018-2019, she completed the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program in Economic Development at Boston University.

Olga Nikolaieva

Olga Nikolaieva is a Research Associate at KSE Institute, and a researcher at Foreign Trade Research Center, Trade+. She holds an MA in Economics from the Economic Education and Research Consortium (EERC) /Kyiv School of Economics. Her main research interests lie in the field of international trade, as well as health economics and labour economics.

Olga has participated in projects such as the Horizon 2020 funded “Social Exclusion of Youth in Europe: Cumulative Disadvantage, Coping Strategies, Effective Policies and Transfer” (EXCEPT) and the feasibility study “Effectiveness of public health system in combating severe population health crisis in Ukraine”.
